Jack Welch
Returns to Keynote Hosted by Rath & Strong at 9th
Annual Six Sigma Summit
Lexington, MA ― 10/04/07-

Another standing-room-only, enthusiastic crowd is
expected for Jack Welch’s return engagement at the 9th
Annual Six Summit. It’s a good idea to plan to get there early
for Rath & Strong fourth annual sponsored keynote session at the
upcoming IQPC Six Sigma Summit in Miami.
“Wall Street, the
pundits, and every
magazine article
about Jack underscore that GE’s market value grew from $13
billion to $500 billion under his leadership. But what makes
Jack a star at the IQPC is that he resurrected Quality as no one
else could have. Quality was once again exciting!” notes Dan
Quinn, President and CEO, Rath & Strong/Aon Management
Consulting. “It has been my pleasure to introduce Jack in 2005,
Rudy Giuliani in 2006, and General Colin Powell in 2007, but
Jack stands out as a hero to the quality movement. In fact,
Quality had become a sort of dead science up until the advent of
Six Sigma at GE. So, I’m sure we can promise a remarkable
session as we host Jack again, back at IQPC in answer to popular
demand.”
Jack Welch’s career since retirement and his
management innovations and initiatives during his tenure as
Chairman and CEO of General Electric are the stuff of legend.
His vision transformed GE with four big game-changing
initiatives: Globalization, Services, Six Sigma Quality, and
E-business. And, along the way, he employed brilliant tactical
innovations like “the boundaryless company”, Work-Out, and the
concept of the “learning organization” to change GE’s culture
and make GE the most agile company in the world.
Rath & Strong was engaged at GE Capital for the
rollout of Six Sigma. (In fact, our famous Courier Simulation
debuted there, and became known at GE Capital as “The Capital
Courier.”) So, we are honored to host Jack Welch’s keynote and
the Q&A that follows at the upcoming 9th Annual Six
Sigma Summit where Welch will update quality professionals with
his unique insights into business process improvement and
business today.
