Assistant Vice President of Lean Delivery / Business Development

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):         

Responsible for delivering Lean operational improvements in consulting engagements, including:  

• Conduct Lean readiness assessments

• Facilitate customer teams

• Collect, validate and analyze data

• Conduct customer interviews

• Lead Value Stream Mapping

• Lead Kaizen (Lean) events

• Interface with all levels to mobilize commitment

• Present solutions and action plans

• Provide Customer and Project Management at both the executive and department levels

Conduct Training:

• Deliver basic and advanced Lean training

• Deliver basic Six Sigma (Green Belt) training

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 5 years, hands on, Lean experience in a manufacturing setting, including experience leading Lean events.

• Experience in Business Development.

• Pharmaceutical & Financial services experience a plus

• Experience in other process improvement methodologies.

• Skill in application of statistical analysis to transactional processes.

• Executive-level communication skills: writing, interviewing, persuasion, selling, and presentation.

• Comfortable managing in dynamic and ambiguous environments at client sites.

• Bachelor's degree

• Lean certification preferred

• Ability to travel 75%
